Don’t just take our word for it. Here’s how one client summarized their experience with Sunbelt Rentals' project-management team: “The Sunbelt Rentals team is attentive and very serious about their work – and our project. The team came to our site to conduct a walk-through, and we reviewed our ideal layout. Sunbelt Rentals did a thorough examination of our site and talked us through possible solutions. At our next meeting, they presented the ideal, custom solution for our project. From there, we had weekly check-ins leading up to the installation to discuss any updates or changes, and we checked in daily during the installation. The entire process was transparent and smooth.”

“Dealing with Sunbelt Rentals has been a great experience —the process has been simple and the customer service has been world-class.” - Valentin Alvarez, Ancos

Expert Project Management Before, During and After the Installation

At Sunbelt Rentals, we are full-service, and we pride ourselves on serving as partners and problem solvers whose commitment to you starts during project planning and doesn’t end after the initial build. You can expect your project manager to get to know your entire project from day one —not only your temporary structure needs.

We also know communication is key. Whether we are communicating with you, your team or other service providers involved in the project, you can count on your project manager to manage expectations and effectively communicate with all the key players. We know good customer service is more than simply saying “yes” to every request. We are dedicated partners you can count on to respond to your requests with expertise — by providing you with your full range of options and the potential risks and rewards of each.

Understanding your structure needs and anticipating potential problems

During your planning process, we will take the time to thoroughly learn about your goals for your temporary structure. By asking why you need the structure, not just what your final dimensions should be, your project manager is gathering critical information to provide tailored solutions that meet your unique needs. We often have solutions to problems you may not have even considered.

And because we are experts in your industry and region, we can help uncover obstacles you may not have anticipated and offer solutions. For example, building codes may require your structure to withstand wind gusts, but this may not be sufficient for a long-term structure lease in an area known for consistently strong winds. By coming to the table with a knowledge of these factors, your project manager can present you the best solution for your project, based on your unique needs.

We will help you identify critical questions and quickly come to decisions early in your planning, so you don’t face delays or challenges later. Just as you measure twice before cutting, expect your Sunbelt Rentals project manager to plan through two – or more – scenarios to make sure we’ve considered every potential problem.

Preparing for installation

Once a plan for the structure is in place, performing due-diligence up-front to prepare your site for installation prevents unnecessary delays. Because we’ve worked on some of the biggest and most challenging jobs in the industry, we know what questions to ask to help you prepare your site for structure installation.

Questions like:

  • If your structure requires a concrete foundation, are you having a contractor pour a concrete foundation before your temporary structure is installed?
  • When will that be done, and will the dimensions accommodate a “brick edge” for optimal rainwater drainage?
  • Will your structure be used for storage or a break space, and how should that affect your flooring selection?
  • Does your project require the additional security and protection of insulated sidewalls, or are standard fabric walls the most suitable for your needs?
  • What amenities does your structure require, based on climate and how it will be used?

With every critical angle covered, you can free yourself from worrying about unexpected problems with your temporary structure so you can focus on the project as a whole.

Managing structure installation and maintenance

We don’t shy away from a challenge. And when unforeseen challenges arise on the job site, we certainly don’t bury our heads in the sand. Sunbelt Rentals' project managers and construction operations managers are creative problem-solving pros, ready to tackle the toughest challenges — including those that arise during installation. For example, what if the layout of the installation site needs to change after the crew and structure components have arrived on site, or a big storm alters the ground surface planned for the structure?  According to one of our construction operations managers, “When the unexpected happens, it’s necessary to insert yourself mentally into the situation, anticipate risks, and present solutions as soon as possible. This is really the meat of what we do. In business, we know things can change on a dime. Our field experience and technical know-how allow us to manage the unforeseen with our customers.”

Structure removal and site restoration

Ready for your next move? So is your Sunbelt Rentals project manager. Whether you need your structure moved to a new location, or removed because the job is done, we’ll work with you to plan every critical detail. We’re there every step of the way to plan the logistics to keep your project on track and to ensure the job is done right.

The Expert Advantage

When expert project management and custom engineering come together, you get the right solution for your space needs. In a recent December, an extreme winter blasted the northern U.S. with extreme winds and temperatures dipping below 24°F. This created severe risks for a nuclear power plant in the region. To prevent further equipment damage, this company needed a solution – and fast. Sunbelt Rentals' engineers designed two customized structures to accommodate the unique specs of the plant’s equipment. Installation within the restricted area that housed the equipment took a two-phased approach and was completed within 12 days. Expert project management and installation of this unique space resulted in zero downtime for the plant operations. When you need a serious space solution, we get it done.

Oil & Gas

Often times, companies such as oil refineries and utility plants experience significant delays due to the environments in which their employees work in. Whether it’s because of the frigid cold temperatures in the North or the extreme heat of the South, working conditions can be the key factor in deadline setbacks.

Aviation

Sunbelt Rentals offers multiple solutions for temporary aircraft hangars. From temporary space to repair a downed aircraft to semi-permanent hangars for twin-aisle aircraft, Sunbelt Rentals has the solution. With each hangar project, Sunbelt Rentals strives to provide custom solutions to meet all the requirements of our clients.

Construction

Sunbelt Rentals has provided construction shelters for concrete pours, plumbing installations, and masonry jobs to protect operations from wind, rain, and cold. This is especially important during harsh conditions to maintain proper curing, as well as to keep crews working, regardless of the weather outside.

Environmental Remediation

Sunbelt Rentals offers a wide variety of temporary storage enclosures designed specifically for pollution containment and environmental remediation. Large structures can be utilized to enclose a hazardous material spill, which purifies dangerous gases by using negative pressure filtration equipment.

Business Continuity

Relocation, expansion, and new construction create the need for temporary space to continue business as usual. From a single, relocatable office to a complete multi-sectional facility, Sunbelt Rentals will deliver a high-quality, innovative solution customized to your requirements.

Manufacturing

Sunbelt Rentals can provide your business with an immediate, custom-built maintenance tent that can be leased temporarily or semi-permanently, depending on your need. Our custom fabric structures can provide shelter for large-scale applications from equipment storage tents to pipe welding and fabrication.
