The NFL Draft is a special event like no other. Taking place annually, the draft is when the National Football League (NFL) teams select eligible college football players to add to their rosters. Surrounding the event, which is taking place in Philadelphia, where the very first NFL Draft occurred, is the NFL Draft Experience. More than 200,000 people are expected to visit the free, three-day event featuring dozens of exciting, interactive experiences.
Speaking of experiences, Mahaffey Fabric Structures recently unveiled its newest temporary structure, the Manhattan Matrix by Mahaffey at the 2017 CONEXPO-CON/Agg trade show in Las Vegas. Mahaffey has been providing special event structures for more than 90 years, but this structure is the first of its caliber.
The Manhattan Matrix is specifically designed for high-end special events. Although it’s a temporary structure, it features an all-glass front with optional deck, clean lines and an invisible framework to make it look like a permanent building.
Because the Manhattan Matrix is large, sound-proof and completely customizable, the Manhattan Matrix is perfect for professional sporting events, much like the upcoming NFL Draft. The high impact parapet and exterior wall wrapping can be attractively branded, for example, with the NFL or sponsor logos. With up to 5,000 square-feet of interior space, space is not an issue. A front deck can also be added to the Manhattan Matrix so that guests can gather outside prior to, during or after the main event.
